The CPI 260® Coaching Report for Leaders

CPI260 LogoThe CPI 260® (Californian Psychological Inventory) was ranked in the top ten training products by Training Media Review. It is based on the longer CPI™460 instrument, one of the best assessments of work-related personality available. It is published through Consulting Psychologists Press, an industry leader in psychometric assessment.

Personality is a key driver of habitual behaviour and therefore has a significant impact on your leadership style, leadership strengths and leadership weaknesses. Furthermore, research conducted by the Center for Creative Leadership links specific aspects of personality, as measured by the CPI 260®, with particular leadership competencies. This process involved comparing over 5,000 360 degree assessment results (Benchmarks) with results of the CPI 260® scores of those same leaders.

Within a few minutes of purchasing your report, we email you your login codes and instructions for completing the assessment.

After taking the CPI 260® online assessment through our secure website we generate the Coaching Report for Leaders. This report draws on the above research to identify leadership competencies that are likely to be your strengths and specific areas of potential developmental need. You receive your CPI Coaching Report for Leaders via email within 24 hours of taking your assessment. You can download a sample Coaching Report for Leaders here.

The TKI Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument

TKI Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument LogoConflict is part of every workplace and effective leaders need to manage it well. Research estimates that on average, managers spend one-fifth of their time managing conflict. The TKI or Thomas Kilmann Mode Instrument is based on a well known and validated model of conflict management. It assesses how you typically go about dealing with conflict and determines your dominant conflict-management style.

This is done through assessing the degree to which you typically enter conflict situations with a view to ensuring:

  • Your own needs are met.
  • The other person's needs are met.

Within a few minutes of purchasing your report, we email you your login codes and instructions for completing the assessment.

There are five possible conflict management styles, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Your TKI report will unveil your dominant conflict-management style along with your scores on each of the other four styles. Each style is suitable in some circumstances and not others. By gaining an appreciation of your dominant approach to conflict, coupled with an understanding of alternatives available, you can choose the right style for the right situation. You receive your TKI report via email within normally within 24 hours of taking your assessment. You can download a sample TKI report here.

The FIRO-B®

FIRO-B Logo We all have certain 'needs' or desires. Will Schulz developed a model for explaining different interpersonal needs and how these needs impact on our interactions with others. Given that leadership is largely a social process, it is important for all leaders to understand your own interpersonal needs.

The FIRO-B® assesses the strength of three different interpersonal needs or desires:

1.       Inclusion

2.       Affection

3.       Control

There are two different ways that each of these needs can show itself:

1.       How much  you want others to show this towards you

2.       How much do you express this to other people

Inclusion

Affection

Control

Wanted

How much you want others to include you

How much you want others to show you affection

How much you want others to provide guidance and tell you what to do

Expressed

How important it is to you to include others at work

How important it is to you to show affection to others at work

How important it is to take charge, make things better and be in control of the situation

Within a few minutes of purchasing your FIRO-B® report, we email you your login codes and instructions for completing the assessment. You receive your FIRO-B® report via email normally within 24 hours of taking your assessment. You can download a sample FIRO-B® report here.
